Meet GeekGravity's Original Avatars: Community Crew and Gravity Core

Two original avatar collections are now live: Community Crew is available immediately, while Gravity Core unlocks after 90 registered days.

GeekGravity now has its own avatar system. Instead of relying on third-party avatar services, members can choose between two original collections: the welcoming Community Crew and the more futuristic Gravity Core.

GeekGravity original avatars: Community Crew and Gravity Core

Community Crew

Community Crew includes 16 young creators and friendly robots. They share GeekGravity's blue-violet palette and soft 3D materials, while distinctive hair, hats, glasses, headsets, and robot silhouettes keep every identity readable at small sizes.

This collection is available immediately after registration. New accounts also receive a stable default avatar from Community Crew.

Gravity Core

Gravity Core includes 16 identities built from visors, orbital forms, nodes, and geometric structures. The collection is calmer, more technical, and more futuristic.

It is a small reward for long-standing members. Everyone can preview the collection, and all 16 avatars unlock automatically 90 days after registration. No daily check-in or payment is required, and the profile page shows how many days remain.

Why build our own avatars?

An avatar is more than an account setting. It is the identity marker people see across the community. A first-party avatar system reduces dependency on external services, avoids email hashes and third-party image requests, and keeps identities consistent across the blog, forum, Feed, and Space.

Each collection offers 16 choices, and the selected avatar follows your account across the website and mobile app. Third-party avatar services are no longer the default source.

How to change your avatar

After signing in, open Me → Profile & Security → Choose an avatar. Switch between Community Crew and Gravity Core, select an avatar, and save your profile.

We will continue to review small-size readability, collection preferences, and the unlock experience. Share your thoughts in the forum discussion.

These avatars are provided for member identity within GeekGravity. Please do not repackage, redistribute, sell, or use the artwork in another product or commercial project without permission. Public showcase images are reduced and watermarked; in-product avatars remain unwatermarked for clear rendering at small sizes.
